ITIHAAS takes the conversation beyond Delhi-NCR, with its Learning Modules in Gwalior, Orchha, Agra, Jhansi, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Allahabad and Kurukshetra. With an ever-growing range of outstation modules, ITIHAAS aims to push the boundaries of heritage education, and to transform heritage sites across the country, into spaces for learning.
In 2014, ITIHAAS inaugurated its Lucknow Chapter which works in 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh with over 40,000 students from rural Uttar Pradesh. The Lucknow centre now has to its credit, a series of ITIHAAS Learning Modules, training programmes, student heritage leadership programmes, and the ITIHAAS Summit for educators. Lucknow is also a major zonal centre for ITIHAAS’ original, national level student-driven music and song competition.
